Try our exclusive sample size of glycolic acid - perfect for product testing, a DIY acid peel, adding to skincare products and more! Glycolic acid is a member of the alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) family, and is the smallest AHA molecules, allowing it to penetrate deeper into the skin. It is commonly used as a toner and chemical peel in concentrations of around 10% for home use, and 20-80% for use by a dermatologist.
Glycolic acid can improve the texture and appearance of skin, exfoliating the top layers of the epidermis, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, scarring, hyperpigmentation and various other skin conditions. Sizes: 10ml. GLYCOLIC ACID USES Commonly used to reduce the appearance of scars, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and other skin conditions over time.

But it's best to consult with your dermatologist and test. Always dilute glycolic acid 70% down to a suitable concentration: 5-10% is good for everyday use, and up to 30% for once a week use. Discontinue if you experience irritation. Apply in the evening as it can make skin sensitive. Apply SPF the next day.
Glycolic acid can be used three ways: as a face wash, toner or mask. You can use it either as a face wash or toner daily, and then as a face mask once per week. In face washes and toners, glycolic acid is used at a concentration of 8-10%, while masks and peels have higher concentrations. Glycolic acid can be combined with other acids and retinoids only if your skin can handle it.
Please consult your dermatologist. GLYCOLIC ACID INGREDIENTS Glycolic acid 70% pH: 1.7 (10% w/w)
